February Stamp Club

We had our February Creative Images meeting on Monday night.  Out of nine ladies present, only one didn’t bring in an exchange card.  She had a good excuse, but still, she had to pay a quarter!  Our exchange card theme for February was monochromatic cards.  We re-elected Jeannie and I as co-presidents and Tange as secretary and elected Linda as our new treasurer.  After business was over, we exchanged our  cards and started on name tags.  We’ll bring the finished ones to club next month and I’ll take pics then.  Here’s our exchange cards.  As always, you can click on a card to see details.

Ursula’s colors for her cute bee get well card were grey/blue, with a vellum overlay, ribbon and a little bee bellie.

Connie did her Valentine in reds and pinks with lots of dimension and bling.

Connie's Love

Ella made this mauve/lavender card.  I called it a flip flop card.  Ella said that wasn’t what she thought it was, but she agreed they sure look like flip flops!

Holly made this mostly yellow Joy card.  One of her layers was crimped on the diagonal for interest.

Jeannie made this lovely Paris collage from mostly burgundies.

This is my mostly green card, using the hat and herbs from Garden from the Heart.  Colored the bonnet with markers and fussy cut it out.

Linda’s pastel dragonflies were embossed and glittered over a rainbow she made with a mask as she laid down each row of color.

Therese did this lovely aqua By the Sea card, stamping the images twice and cutting out half the aqua image before mounting on base image with up stuff.

Now these are the BEST cards ever from this talented group. These ladies are real artists. Wish I lived in FL, so I could try and weasel into this great group of stampers. I can't even pic a favorite this month, but besides Kathy's of course my second fav would be the Paris one.

I'd love to live over there too just so I can go to your group! Fantastic cards everyone, esp. like Linda's dragonfly card.
